THE NOMAD - second selection
The Nomad continues
the movement of electronic music in New Zealand down the road
of progress, with an impressive release called 'Second Selection'.
This is a mature statement of these times.
Energised by the
experience of selling out his debut release, The Nomad surfaces
again to breath life into bass bins all over the country. Mutating
into various organic life forms, Second Selection spans a broad
range of emotions, through a lunar journey of deep spaced grooves.
'Where are you?'
asks a simple question to a waiting audience and will be the
first single, also released on a limited 12" vinyl remixes,
especially for djs to cut it up.
Rolling over volcanic
craters, The Nomad selects a tasty treat of vocal delights.
'one for one' features farda p from (rockers hi fi) bigging
up the south islands finest. While 'look around' sees MC Charmed
1' holding the spotlight, ripping soulful vocaaaals like a southerly
gale. Also in the mix is 'lotus' and Antsman from Beats & Pieces.
The Selection shifts
orbit into another galaxy wth 'Bring it down' defying gravity
in a D&B style. Which prepares you for the bad arse remix of
'salmonella dub's'- version-for the love of it (nomad style).
rounding it off in style until his next release is the Nomads
final statment
"time is running
out'. Enough said it's just damn good.
